Coffee Plantation

Blend Coffee, is the mixture of different origins, altitudes, microclimates and varieties of Arabica coffee grown under the shade of native trees in which a greatbiodiversity can be seen located within the National Coffee Park between 1200 and 1500 meters above sea level. Coming from associations of small producers identified by their coffee tradition and culture, belonging to the Organic Certification and Fair Trade Program of Highland Coffee.

We present Cherry Coffee with the aim of eliminating water contamination during the wet process and obtaining a different coffee with a slightly sweet flavor, good body and intense aroma. The result of harvesting ripe cherry trees to dry them in the sun and store them in sacks. Jute for 7 months, so that the natural sweetness of the mucilage is absorbed by the grain, obtaining a sweet and very aromatic coffee.

It is a coffee that does not undergo the fermentation process, since it is pulped and dried with all the sugars it contains, leaving it covered with a layer of mucilage, which when it dries, continues to absorb moisture from the air and becomes sticky like honey. Within its sensory profile, its medium-high fruity acidity, fruity sweetness, floral (rose tea) and chocolate notes, hazelnut and almond flavor that give it smooth and consistent characteristics stand out. The flavors are usually less intense than those of a natural, but its clarity and definition is much more noticeable and pronounced.

In the National Coffee Park, in one of the highest areas of the Palomar Valley, is the Campo Verde D'Calín Recreation Center farm. Carlos Lizana "Calín" is characterized by being a man with the heart of an angel, hospitable, humble and very proactive and his specialty is not only growing coffee, but he is also a baker, a specialist in preparing typical dishes such as pachamanca, broth of duck among others; he also dedicated to raising animals such as cows, sheep, chickens, ducks, etc. and makes his own cheeses. His farm is extremely welcoming and recreational, and he is a member of the company's Organic and Fair Trade Certification Program.

ROSALVINA QUISPE, an Andean woman who emigrated to the mountainous jungles of Chanchamayo, the coffee capital of Peru, where she developed a coffee culture with more than 50 years of experience. She is recognized by the population as an honorable person due to her good principles and her humble and kind nature. Her farm is located within the National Coffee Park at 1,600 meters above sea level and is associated with the Highland Coffee Organic and Fair Trade Certification Program.

MACARIO IZURRAGA Coffee - Premium

MACARIO IZURRAGA CABALLERO producer of fine coffees of origin and history, with a history of more than 60 years as a coffee producer located at 1700 meters above sea level. He is an honorable person recognized and decorated, during the development of the "III International Auction of Fine Coffees" developed in the National Coffee Park. History was born in the years of 1,955 when he dedicated himself to the transport with assimilas to extract coffee and wood from the depths of the Palomar Valley to San Luis de Shuaro and on the way back he entered with his merchandise of first necessity for the different stores and coffee families of the place. In those years there were no roads or motorized vehicles, all transportation was with mules, donkeys and horses, it was not until 1970 that the roads were built.
